Brief Q & A with the Author in English
This blog has received so amazing response from its core audience, that some people have become overly curious. To meet this growing demand, I decided to have a chat with one of my frequent visitors:
Q: What is this gibberish?
A: The language you mean? It is the most beautiful and efficient form of communication ever existed on this planet, Finnish.
Q: Finnish, the language of Finland right? I heard you guys eat snow for food there, is this correct?
A: Finland is the one. As for the snow-eating, sometimes, if we are really hungry and we have run out of reindeers.
Q: So what is this page about?
A: I am just writing some stuff that I see and experience in Seoul, South Korea.
Q: Okay, the name makes some sense now. What are you doing there?
A: I am on a university exchange from my Finnish school. So basically studying, not too much work though.
Q: Interesting, interesting. So how have you liked the country so far?
A: It has certainly been a lot of fun. Korea is so different from Finland, but I have adapted quite well. You should see it for yourself, or at least check the photos.
Q: Hmm. Don't they have a war going on there?
A: Well, basically cold war has never ended here. In practice you hardly notice the ongoing war, although the North Korean border is less than an hour away. Sometimes I see American GI's walking around in specific locations.
Q: Okay, you mentioned the photos, what else there is for me as a non-Finnish speaking person?
A: Well, there are the links, and... Okay thats it, but the photos are pretty good, don't you think? And you can leave comments too!
Q: That's weak. Seriously, why did you even write this stuff in English?
A: I admit it, i just wanted those foreign bastards to stay even a bit over a second here so that the statistics would look nicer. I'm sad, I know.
Q: Keep it together man, no need for weeping now, is there.
A: Fine, fine. I think we have pretty much covered everything. Thanks for these very thoughtful questions.
Sorry, it got little out of hand in the end. Anything to add or questions to ask? Just write em to the comments box.
